Last night Fashionwithfifi.com stopped by Dermalogica’s Soho store for the launching of their latest skin care segment – UltraCalming. UltraCalming is a system designed to control the various causes behind inflamed, sensitive skin; which can either stem from genetics, the environment or stress.
Much like Dermalogica formulation standards, all UltraCalming products do not contain artificial fragrances and dyes. All five UltraCalming products feature the highly-effective, proprietary UltraCalming Complex. This multi-benefit complex includes active ingredients that mediate immunogenic and neurogenic inflammatory triggers for immediate and long-term relief of inflamed, sensitized skin. It also includes botanicals and peptides that help replicate your skin’s natural protective barrier. This helps to strengthen the skin cell structure against water loss and protect against dehydration-induced sensitization.
Annet King, Director of Global Education for the International Dermal Institute, introduced the new products and provided a brief informal presentation. Afterwards, guests were treated to a one-on-one face mapping – where a skin specialist identified skin concerns and gave personalized product recommendations. They also received a Summer Skin Savor MicroZone treatment which will be able to the public in June.
Not only did Fashionwithfifi.com learn a lot about skin preventative care and treatment – we received a complimentary facial lasting 20 minute. For those of you who did not have the opportunity to come out last night, we’d like to invite you to visit the Soho store located at 110 Grand Street (between Mercer and Broadway) and tell them that Fashionwithfifi.com sent you!
