Last week New York City gave Sheckys Girls Night Out a red carpet welcome. In an attempt to welcome in the summer, Sheckys hosted a 4 day Girls Night Out soiree from June 15 – 18, 2010 at 82 Mercer Street.
The sold out event united mobs of fashion lovers to what was one of the most anticipated social exposition of the year. The open space was filled with fashion vendors and plenty of new products to sample.
Attendees skimmed from booth to booth and received free cocktails, beauty samples, massages, and professional makeovers courtesy of Maybelline New York. Dj Saigon played a mixture of hip-hop, old school and funk music which kept the crowd on their feet. Guests got to participate in free wine tasting tryouts and pose with the shirtless Veet hunks.

Fashionwithfifi.com asked around and we’ve compiled a list of the top 5 things that made Sheckys Girls Night Out New York City Summer 2010 worth attending:
1. Going home with a Goodie Bag that’s stuffed with everything from makeup to food.
2. A Budgetnista’s version of Happy Hour – free & unlimited Bacardi Classic Cocktail Pina Coladas all night
3. Being able to shop and socialize with other fantastic women
4. Being able to text your favorite songs to DJ Saigon as she mixed the crowds favorite tunes.
5. Being photographed with semi-nude sexy male models – which was also one of our guilty pleasures
If you weren’t able to attend last week and live within the Tri-State area, there’s still an opportunity to part take in the Sheckys experience. On July 10, 2010 from 1-6pm Sheckys will host a Girls Day Out the Hamptons Summer 2010. Tickets are available for purchase at $30 – which includes admission to the event and a goodie bag. The affair will take place at the South Hampton Historical Museum - 17 Meeting House Ln. (Main St. & Jobs Lane) Southampton, 11968.
