Red Carpet Fashion at the 52nd Annual Grammy Awards

Lady Gaga looked like Armani Prive's 2010 couture version of Cinderella. The pop star was whimsical on the red carpet. Her gown was made from custom-made crystals and she paired it with her heelless, glass slippers. Leave it to Lady Gaga to bring art to life.

Rihanna was my absolute favorite - Best dressed in a feathered Elie Saab frock. Her dress showcased all her best features from her toned arms to curvy hips.

Did Melody Thornton borrow this frock from Beyonce? Doesn’t this dress seem like something Beyonce would wear or have worn already?!

Pink looked like a million dollars in her Tony Ward Haute Couture floor-length ombre dress - and it had nothing to do with the Neil Lane jewels (that were worth nearly 3 mill).

Taylor Swift turned heads in a sapphire, off-the-shoulder Kaufman Franco gown. She paired it perfectly with chandelier earrings and sideswept choiffe.

Boring! Beyonce’s style is oh so typical and predictable. Again, instead of opting to show off features other than her curves – such as her legs, she chose a form-fitting Stephane Rolland gown that hugged her hips.

J-Hud looked posh in a Victoria Beckham beauty. The songstress wore all black from head to toe: dark nylons, Lucite bangles, and Yves St. Laurent "Trib Two" platform pumps.

While some had mixed views of Ciara wearing a lace jumpsuit from Givenchy, I think she looked fierce! Not everyone can pull it off, but Ci Ci did. Her look was romantic, bold and beautiful.

Ashanti looked good, but could’ve looked even better had she cut off that train: it was distracting and unnecessary.

Worst Dressed

Oops, she did it again! It looks like Britney forgot her dress and wore her slip instead.

Snooki looked more like Hookie at the Grammys. The self-described guidette wore a tacky purple mini and hoof-like heels. This may be appropriate for the Shore but not for the Grammys.

Shaila Durcal came dressed in what appeared to be a table cloth.

Some people will do anything for attention… and in this case it was Imogen He.

We want to know: who do you think was the best and/or worst dressed celebrity at this year's Grammy awards?

When Bad Fashion Happens to Good People: BET Award Show 2009

Celebrities hit the red carpet at last night's B.E.T. Award show. While some were dressed to impress, others showed up in the unexplainable --- committing fashion suicide. And just when I thought that B.E.T. and company couldn't possibly go lower, they have proven me wrong yet once again. En route to the award show "attributing Michael Jackson", Melody Thornton showed up in this unflattering skanky getup ...... and what a disgrace! Whatever happened to showing up at a tribute, award show, or an event with class? It seemed as though her butt cheeks were exposed. Someone should have advised her to wear something less revealing and more respectable. But what can you expect from a Pussycat Doll?!?!?

Next up is the demon of the night: Lil Mama. She showed up looking like Sheneneh Jenkin's little sister - Shenono. Doesn't this getup look like something you'll find at DOTS. Can someone please tell me who's her stylist so that I can beat her down with an ugly stick?!?! On the flip slide Lil Mama did come dressed for the occasion as a Thriller zombie.

And finally, the ultimate attention-seeker Cassie. Where can I begin?!?!? Everyone wants to be the talk of the red carpet - hopefully in a good way. There are some people who'll push their fashion limits and others who'll show up DOA (Dead-wrong on arrival) - and Cassie did just that. Fishnets are soooooooooo 90s. This getup should be worn at a club somewhere on South Beach and not at an award show "Attributing the King of Pop". What kills me is that Cassie actually thinks she's working this look SMH. There's a lot to be said when your shoe is layering more skin than your dress. It's no wonder Diddy failed to appear with and sit next to her.

I think I Cannes Style: Cannes Film Festival Continued

Brad Pitt and fellow cast mates put on one heck of a show at the Cannes Film Festival for the premiere of the much hyped film "Inglourious Basterds" yesterday. The sexy star wore a chic pastel colored two-piece Tom Ford suit, white shirt and a gray cashmere scarf. I loved the way he intentionally unbottoned the top half of his shirt to tuck his scarf (stylishly wrapped around his neck) away in. The aviator shades completed the look - accentuating his sexy appeal. I am loving this look on Brad --- clean, tasteful, and sexy. Say whatever you want about him - he may be 40 plus but he still has that swag!

How low can you go Emma?

Diane Kruger wore an exquisite cowl-back, silver-embroidered Marchesa gown

A Fashionable Entrance:
Quentin Tarantino and Mélanie Laurent showed off some serious dance moves on the red carpet

Later on that evening, his better half Angelina Jolie joined him, wearing a sensual tea rose chiffon Atelier Versace dress that showcased her shoulder tattoos. The look on their faces says it all - These bastards always look good!

Red Carpet: 2009 Cannes Film Festival

Celebrities came red-carpet-ready for the 2009 Cannes Film Festival

Eva Longoria-Parker made her first red carpet appearance at the 2009 festival a memorable one, donning a silk organza embroidered ball gown by Versace. I just love this dress: there's something about it that screams Fabulous. By the look on Eva's face it seems as though she loves it too. Ladies, this dress is pure art, pure fashion, pure elegance! Eva could've have chosen a better dress to wear.

Bollywood superstar Aishwarya Rai looked magnificent when she gracefully navigated the red carpet in a white tiered strapless gown from the Cavalli Couture Collection. I loved the upper portion of the dress but not so much the bottom tiers. Her neck looks so bare -- a V-cut diamond necklace would have done the job and maybe a dust of gold shimmer here or there. Regardless of what I thought about the dress, there was no denying that Aishwarya was oh so chic.

Mimi showed up with sexy rocker Lenny Kravitz, wearing a black Dolce & Gabanna dress. This dress is muy caliente on Mariah; it hugs her curves and bust just right. And Lenny isn't so bad himself. He's smoking hot - I wouldn't mind him holding my umbrella.
Side Note: Don't they make a cute pair?!?

Phoebe Price looked like a disco ball in mourning as she blew a kiss to the camera.

Abbie Cornish played it safe with this lavender Toni Maticevski grown. The 26-year-old actress paired it with Jimmy Choo “Dane” satin sandals. All I can say is that she looks cute. This gown would be perfect for prom - not for the red. This dress screams immaturity. I'll give her a pass for now, but next year Abbie needs to bring on the heat because this dress just won't due.

When Bad Fashion Happens to Good People

Offender: Dawn Richard

Last night Ex-Danity Kane member Dawn Richard attended the Gotham Magazine party looking a hot mess!!! I definitely wasn’t feeling getup.

1. Look closely: her makeup was applied unevenly. You could barely notice her eye shadow. *side eye*

2. Is it me or goes she have a serious case of bad skin? Exfoliate anyone?!?!

3. I’m so sick of seeing her with this nose ring. Am I the only one who thinks that nose rings are tacky?

4. Multi-colored nail lacquer: would’ve look better had she chosen colors that complement each other.

5. Doesn’t her hair look as though she just rolled out of bed and unwrapped it with her fingers? Who styled this chic: Aundrea (I know money is tight but damn)? There’s no need for Dawn’s hair to cover her right eye. Since her attire isn’t turning heads (by being the center of attention), I’m going to assume that her hair is supposed to be the focal point. With that said, her hair needs a lot of bounce…. big, soft curls would do.

The only thing worth looking at in this pic is her YSL basket woven boots.

Rating: On a scale from 1 – 5, I’d give Dawn’s appearance a 2.98 (and that’s mainly due to her boots)
