Sony Ericsson Launches Jalou by Golce & Gabbana

Dolce & Gabbana teamed up with Sony Ericsson to bring you their new fashion mobile phone -Jalou D&G. Jalou, which means jealous in French, Sony Ericsson's latest style statement is only 73mm long – shorter than your favorite lipstick, it is easy to slip into the tiniest clutch or jacket pocket and is full of essential features.

Combining beauty with cutting-edge technology, Jalou’s host of features will keep you entertained and looking fabulous. The two inch screen’s clever design means that at the touch of a button the screen becomes a mirror, offering a discreet way to make sure you look as good as your mobile phone. It is also the first Sony Ericsson to feature Walk Mate step counter, to help you stay in shape wherever you go. It also has an exclusive fashion interface which automatically updates with zodiac signs and special events throughout the year. Jalou will be available in a variety of gem inspired colors including: Deep Amethyst, Aquamarine Blue and Onyx Black.

Make them all Jalou with Jalou!
Other features include the 3.2 megapixel camera, music player, video recording, 3G, Bluetooth™, built-in FM radio and Internet where you can check your email, watch YouTube™ clips, Google™, as well as upload your video and photos to your favorite social networking sites.

Here’s a glimpse at Sony Ericsson’s new media campaign for its new Jalou cell phone by Dolce & Gabbana which features beautiful models conducting a suspicious covert operation using the mobile device.

According to Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana: “The campaign theme plays with the concept of jealousy and desire for a must have object. The protagonists are willing to do whatever is necessary to get it before everyone else. The link with the Dolce & Gabbana brand is the strong femininity, the exclusivity and luxury of the women that wear the Dolce & Gabbana clothing, use the Jalou by Dolce & Gabbana phone and embrace our world in general.”

Wow, mobile companies are really trying to keep up with the trends now. What's next - designing phones for New York Fashion Week?

Funky, Fresh Dressed

Retro to Party

Imagine walking down Prince Street in Soho on a sunny afternoon. Retro is in the air, spritz is in your hair, but there’s something missing ……. What is it?!?!? Funky, fresh, neon-colored glasses - that’s what. Treat yourself to these Retro ready Eye Candies by Ralph Lauren.

Designed for the young recessionista, these sunglasses come in vibrant Spring and Summer ready colors. I adore them because not only are they retro/ 1980’s ready; they’re affordable as well ($79.95 at Sunglass Hut). Everyone can’t afford $300 Prada glasses in this economy. So why not look just as good for a fraction of the cost?

My Recommendation: Go and get them. These glasses are definitely a must-have!
