Coat Check: Gap Wool peacoat

I woke up this morning and paused when I realized that we're already almost all the way through October. I can't believe that we're already at Halloween weekend and an end to Day light savings. Halloween is an important fashion marker date. Although we're half way through fall, we're not quite at winter weather yet. So before we dust off those heavy coats we need a mid season alternative. GAP kept the timeless maritime features that make the wool peacoat a fall-to-winter must, like a pronounced double-breasted front and exaggerated notched collar. Gap fine-tuned it with a slimmer silhouette for a feminine, flattering fit. Although this coat is availible in traditional black, I think red is a nice change of pace. Sizes range from XS to XXL for Regular, Tall and Petite fits. Gap.com lists this Wool peacoat in Cinnabar red at a cost friendly $128 fully lined and with topstitching throughout. I love different! Especially when different comes in the form of this Abi Coat by XOXO. The Abi is an elegant, retro inpsired design that will add extra polish to your fall wardrobe.
