Throw some Bronze on that B..............ody :) Win a Free Bronzer!

Ever wondered how celebrities such as Mary J Blige, Alicia Keyes, Beyonce, JLo and Kimora Lee Simmons look like they were baked in radiance and how to get that glow? You can now stop wondering because I'm going to give you the juice! It's called a bronzer. Now you, too, can look like a golden goddess. Believe it or not, many ethnic women don't use bronzers because they think that it only works for paled & light skinned people........... (which is absolutely not true) the darker the skin, the worst the results, and that it'll harm your skin in some form or another. Thank god these are all myths. I've personally tried it on darker skinned women and it looked just as spectacular on them as others and I have yet to witness the negative effects. Using a bronzer is a good way to warm your appearance and add glow to it. Bronzers are intended to give you a radiant, shimmer glow in places that's usually exposed to sunlight........... FOR ALL SKIN TONES. You can use a bronzer in place of eye shadow or blush. Bronzers come in the form of liquid, powder, stick, mousse, and cream – to suite your bodily needs. I would recommend using a powdered bronzer when applying on the face and a liquid bronzer for the body. In a liquid form, it will easily distribute throughout the skin evenly - avoiding wasting the product and powder form would work best for the face because it won’t clog up your face - especially for those with oily skin. They're easy to use and wash off. The best time to use a bronzer is during Spring and Summer seasons (You don't want to make the mistake of looking like you've just got a tan in the dead of winter). It's perfect for going to the beach, going out during the day, and if you have an event to tend to in the evening that will expose you to a lot of lights (such as a dance, game, wedding, ect) - go for it. Don't waste your time putting it on if going to the movies.

Tips when using a Bronzer:
When choosing a bronzer – choose one that’s a few shades darker than yours – but not too dark. Too dark shades may look unnatural.
If you want to make your skin luminous, look for products with a subtle shimmer.
Apply the bronzer evenly as possible, so that your skin doesn’t give off an orange appearance. Never overdo it when applying: your skin will look unnatural.
Apply the bronzer on areas where the sun usually hits.
When applying, make sure that your application isn’t too heavy.
If you use a powder bronzer apply it with a big, round brush. Start from the center of your face and work outwards.
When using a bronzer keep your makeup as simple and natural as possible. Avoid applying too much makeup after you have applied bronzer. Keep your foundation to a minimum if you wear bronzer on your face, otherwise your complexion may look too orange.
The bronzer should be a few shades darker than your skin tone. Stay away from the orange tones - it’ll look unnatural and fake.
Wash your hands after application.
Avoid contact with eyes and clothes for at least one hour after application.
Use bronzer in place of blush, sweeping it over cheekbones will add definition to the face.
