Renowned stylist Nick Arrojo is looking for four models to have their hair done on stage at his upcoming Masters of Beauty class for Empire Beauty School and is holding an open casting call – all serious candidates are welcome! Any model selected for the Masters of Beauty appearance will receive $250 to have her hair cut and/or colored by Nick during the Masters of Beauty class, and may potentially be selected to appear in an Empire Beauty Schools ad.
Empire Beauty School has three locations in New York City: one in Manhattan (22 West 34th Street; 212-967-1717), one in Bensonhurst, Brooklyn (2384 86th Street; 718-373-2400) and one in Astoria, Queens (38-15 Broadway718-726-8383).
Nick is looking for female models only, all hair types and colors, but hair must be in healthy condition! He will not consider hair that has extensions, is over-processed or relaxed. Models should be sizes 0-6, ages 17-25, 5’8 and taller. All models must be open to the possibility of cut and color.
The Masters of Beauty class will take place on July 18, 2010 in Manhattan and will be attended by Empire Beauty Students and graduates who wish to become masters of their craft. The program features workshops focusing on trends and creative expression, while teaching modern techniques in scissor, razor, and color placement. Candidates must complete three models in a desired skill area to earn certified Master of Beauty status. Upon completion of the MOB program, stylists receive a seal: Advanced Seal, Senior Seal or Master Seal.
