Talk About Damage

After watching the final showing of MTV’s Making The Band (season 4), I couldn’t help but to shake my head at how things ended for the girls of Danity Kane. What was the real story behind Aundrea’s absence? It’s obvious that there’s a lot of tension between the girls and it would only be right not to continue together for now, but don’t they seem bitter?

Damaged... damaged.... damaged....

Noticed the girls’ body language, the way Dawn switched places with D.Woods in-between a commercial break and their responses when asked if there was a possibility of Danity Kane reuniting.

So how you gonna fix it, fix it, fix it?

I guess this is deeper than tv: more than what we, as both viewers and fans, can ever imagine. Damaged... damaged.... damaged. However, I was deeply disappointed that they didn’t put the pettiness aside to give their fans a final performance but what would you expect from a bunch of immature girls who have a sense of entitlement?

On lighter note, I’m definitely looking forward to Aubrey’s new reality show.

Aubrey O'Day

Fierce Kitty A. O’Day has always gotten the bad rap as the "Black Sheep" of DK. Hardly one episode of MTV’s Making The Band 4 goes by without someone mentioning just how much of a black sheep Aubrey was (of Danity Kane). More publicity for her I guess, but in today’s society, is bad publicity still considered to be good publicity – let Aubrey be the judge. Say what you may about her raunchiness and playboy poses but the Devil (aka Diddy) made her do it. There are 2 sides to every story and we’re only seeing one so far; therefore, I’m not jumping on the “I Hate Aubrey” Bandwagon just yet. So in an attempt to salvage whatever’s left of her career Aubrey is giving herself a fresh start with a new look. Is it me or does she look strikingly similar to LC from The Hills? Was this done intentionally? If so, you gotta give it to Aubrey for having the perfect timing since the highly anticipated final season of The Hills is now showing.

When Bad Fashion Happens to Good People

Offender: Cassie

Bad girl Cassie has pulled the major no-no. Baby girl, as Diddy puts it, has decided to shave off the right side of her head (while the opposite side remains long) and release pictures of her new do-do (because she looks like a complete fool) via twitter. Somebody should’ve told this girl something. I want to know what was Diddy’s reaction to all of this?!?! Oh, I get it; I know what she was trying to do - She was going for the rocker look but just isn’t rocking it well.

Note to Cassie: It looks better on people with shorter hair baby girl!


I’m sure she had good intentions, but let’s be serious: the road to hell is paved with good intentions. Just because you mean well it doesn’t mean that, that’s what’s going to happen. This is a perfect example of when haircuts go wrong. Better yet, another publicity stunt gone wrong. I swear some people just want attention – they give you things to talk about nowadays. These no-longer-be’s R & B chicks are utterly ridiculous, going out of their way to compete for attention and record sales. If you ask me, Cassie needs a FDO (Fashion Do-Over). She could do one of two things to correct this fashion-faux pas:

1. Pull a Britney Spears and shave the whole damn thing off
OR
2. Rock Bananas on her head like Bret Michaels until the other half grows back then try again.
