Ladies, feast your eyes on pieces from the Jean Paul Gaultier for Target Designer Look Book. Forever 21 to Launch Beauty Line

Fast-fashion retail chain Forever 21 is prepared to debut its highly anticipated 'Love and Beauty' assortment.


The collection will feature an array of beauty and makeup products such as brushes, mascara in purple, cobalt blue and black, a smoky eye shadow palette, lip gloss and glitter eyeliners in silver and cobalt blue -- a trendy product line that goes well with the retailer's clothes. Oh, and did I mention that they're all under $10!

“It made sense as a next step,” said Forever 21 spokeswoman Kirstin Nagle. “If you think of our customer, she loves being on trend and, to complete her look, we had everything in our stores except the cosmetics piece.”

“We are using a lot of the vendors that are making prestige cosmetics. It is the same quality as prestige vendors, but at Forever 21 prices,” Nagle said.

According to WWD, this will mark the first major beauty brand of a fast-fashion retailer on U.S. soil. In Europe, the only beauty product Forever 21 sold was an occasional lip gloss. But Swedish competitor H&M has been selling its own makeup collection for some time now. Spanish fashion company Zara, features in-house fragrances, and UK retail giant Topshop announced its own beauty line for spring next year, so it seems likely that other fashion retail chains will soon follow suit.

Jimmy Choo & H & M Preview

Back in June I reported that fashion designer Jimmy Choo was collaboring with H&M to bring you high end fashion at affordable prices for fall. Here's a sneak peak at what you can expect -- which is nothing short of FIERCE! The collection consists of shoes, bags, accessories for both men and women, and a women’s clothing collection to complement the accessories. Look For Less: Rihanna's Cropped Pants

Good morning and happy Saturday! I'm all smiles today. After being subjected to a nasty week of rain, I've woken up to beautiful sunshine. Would you believe that even with all the rain yesterday, I still found time to do a little bargain shopping... not that I bought much, but I did find exactly what I was looking for and that's always a reason to celebrate.

Direct your attention to the picture of Rihanna. She wore this beautiful black crop pants on Tuesday while shopping at Fred Segal in Santa Monica. I love Rihanna's style. Like me, she's not afraid to get creative with garments and seems to pull off stylish looks most of the time. Celebrities always seem to influence our fashion senses but most of us don't have celebrity cents or dollars for that matter. Whoever said that we can't we look just as good for a fraction of what they're paying? I found the same pleated knit crop pants Rihanna was wearing on clearance at Express yesterday (thank God for that)!

I was eyeing this piece a while back online but wondered how it would look on me, so I held back on purchasing it until I could try it on. I combed several Express stores and could never find it until lady luck paid me a visit at the South Street Sea Port location. When I found it in small I knew I had to try it on, and guess what - it fitted perfectly (and I'm a size 6 in pants)!
