Remember when it was an acceptable trend in Hollywood to utilize your miniature dog as a fashion accessory? Yes..... did you forget already?!?

Whatever happened to riding in style: we do so while riding buses, cars, motor cycles, but not bikes. Why is that? This is all about to change; thanks to Donna Karen and creative students at the Fashion Institute of technology, we'll soon be able to look good while putting the pedal to the medal.

Whatever Happened to Them Wednesdays: Classic Sitcoms

Sorry for posting this up a little late but doesn't it seem as though there's never anything good on TV even with 100 plus channels? And just when you start enjoying a show, it gets pulled. Whatever happened to great sitcoms or shows that ran for more than 2 seasons? It seems like TV networks are more willing to cancel great pilots before they even air. I remember the good ole days where shows like Seinfeld, Star Search, the Fresh Prince of Bel Air, Melrose Place, the Cosby Show, Frazier, Martin, In Living Single, Law & Order (which still airs) and In Living Color ruled the TV line ups. They were more like the originators of the game - or the best of the best.

Whatever happened to children growing up on classic TV shows? Well, I should be grateful of certain networks airing their reruns. Thank goodness I have the DVR feature through my Direct TV - I would be lost without it (because I'm still stuck in the past). Why can't there be more sitcoms like these on TV? I miss the 90s! I enjoy watching these shows - 10 years later and they still seem to crack me up!

Whatever happened to getting something for nothing.... remember the good ol' days when cosmetic companies actually cared about what you thought and gave great customer service? Whatever Happened to Them Wednesdays: Kira Plastinina

Yesterday I strolled down 5th Avenue and thought to myself "isn't it funny how time flies?" It seems like just a week ago I was in the Kira Plastinina store. Last year teen fashion designer Kira Plastinina along with millions of American teens were estatic about her coming to America. When the Russian-born heiress went global, it seemed as though she would be a sure hit in the U.S. However, that wasn't the case. Poor Kira; she learned the hard way that her girlie pink and purple lollipops were no match for H & M, Forever21, and America's ruthless fashion industry. Just 7 months after opening a handful of stores in the U.S., KP Fashion Co. filed for chapter 7 bankruptcy. This had a lot to do with her owing $54.5 million to more than 100 creditors, the slumping economy, and her overly priced garments.

If you're wondering what's going on with Kira Plastinina and her stores now, wonder no more. There are currently no plans for her to reopen any of her U.S. stores. Even her American online site is closed for business. However, her stores in Russia, Ukraine, and Kazakhstan are doing just fine. It's a year later and her reps still refuse to comment on the whole chapter 7 mess (whomp-whomp). Looks like it's back to the drawing board for Ms. Plastino-no.

Is it me or does this store seem better vacant?
