If I Were A Rich Girl (Poll Contest!!!)

Every day I turn on the television and I hear that there's recession going on out there. I hear about ten percent unemployment and a shrinking economy. Wouldn't it be nice if everyone in those statistics could live like Sur Cruise. Last week Tom & Katie's adorable little toddler was photographed right here in New York City sporting a pricy $850 Salvatore Ferragamo Purse. Yes it seems that 3 year old Suri is always clad in only the best. From $100 ballet flats to $400 rain coats, baby Suri lives the life. It must be nice.

So it got me thinking what would the average Fashionwithfifi.com subscriber do for a Pricey Ferragamo Tote? How far would she go to get her hands on what is normally a rich girl's status symbol? So tell me ladies what would you do for wealth like Suri Cruise? How would you live if you were a Rich Girl? Tell us and you can win this:

No, you don't win the Fashionwithfifi.com ladies, rather what they're holding. It's the much coveted: Ferragamo- "Vara Bow Fragrance Tote" in white. Fashionwithfifi.com's own Tanesha (third from the right) and Lily (Second from the left) are both holding on to a limited edition Salvatore Ferragomo tote given out exclusively to special invited guest to last week's Incanto Bloom party; during New York City Fashion Week. The Pink Vara Bow adorns the front of the bag while exquisite styling, stitching and construction make this tote unmistakeably, Ferragamo.

How To Win:

Entering is really simple. Just leave a comment answering the three poll questions below. Remember this is supposed to be fun so don't be shy or embarrassed to tell the truth.

  1. a) I would do anything, but nothing that would ruin my reputation as a mother because I always want to set an example for my child. So any form of explicit sexual act or performance wouldn't be apart of my act.
    b) I would change my living arrangement: buy couple houses, invest in more business ventures and help my family and the needy. Also I believe I would buy more of all that I dream of having and want even when I dnt really need it.
c)Yes, $850 spent on a bag for a 3 yr is too extreme. Damn they could get couple books and educational cds out of that. That amount would be more convenient to spend on a child much older say 13 and older.

    Cool questions!!

  2. 1) For extreme wealth, I would be Will's Love Slave, he is so fine.

    2) If I suddenly became wealthy, I would make Will my Love Slave.

3)$850 isn't that much if it's for me and Will's Love child.

  3. 1. I would walk around town for 1 day totally nude in the middle of winter!!!
    2. After I cashed my check I would move to another city!! LOL!! I'd definately share with my family, church, charitable organizations and pay back college loans!!!!
    3. I won't spend that kind of money on a purse for a child. I think they may have done that to boost thier own ego. A 3 year old doesn't know the difference or care if a purse cost $850 or $8.50.

  4. 1) I would do anything I have to do which means work hard but keeping my integrity and self respect. And To do it in a way to help others any way I can.(i.e women's organization, fight for children, or something in the beauty world) in other words, something I would be proud of!!
2)I would first off start investing in things such as land, homes, small businesses. I would take care of the financial needs of my nieces and my future children's future so that they wouldn't have to worry about funds or anything while in college (like I had to). I would set my family up with wonderful lavishing homes. and buy everything I desire...except I would call loved ones asking them what color/size they want..lol but I think it would feel great to not have to worry about things and just live life adundantly but humble.
3)Yes $850 is TOO much to spend on a bag for a 3yr old. You want them to get the concept of being a lady and taking care of themselves by looking fierce at all times BUT there is a way of doing so..and thats not by throwing money away like that. They wouldn't know/care if it was from the red circle boutique or Off Saks!! Seriously...and I would want to show her that she needs to work hard for her money and how to be less dramatic and careful with it.

  5. 1)I would stand on the corner and ask people for money with a sign
    2) If I were to become rich I would CHANGE everything.. I would be able to afford all the Indian Hair my heart desired....
    3) The way my baby is on purses. Shoot she would be lucky if she had even gotten one from the 99 cent store... So, yea I think $850 on a purse for a child is WAY too much. Even if I did have the money.

    3. I wouldn't even buy a $850 bag for myself..let alone a 3 year old

  8. A. What would I do to be wealthy beyond my wildest dreams, I would take a trip on an airplane. I am afraid of heights so thats a big deal to me.

B.What would I change if I suddenly became wealthy, I would change how I spend money. I will spend more because I will have more. How would I live differently, I would take my family from here and find somewhere better to live.

    C. Do I think 850 dollars is to much to spend on a three years old a purse, only if u don't have the money to buy it.

  9. A. I would learn how to become a mogul like P. Diddy and Donald Trump. I would want my money to keep making money so that my children would never have to work too hard.

    B. I would get out of this low income enviornment, the mentality around here is killing me. I would make a halfway house in a nice area and take some of these single mothers with me away from this mess. No one needs to be here.

    C. That childe doesn't need an $850.00 purse, but what is $850.00 to Tom Cruise. We say whoa to that amount of money for a purse but really thats probably chump change to them.

  10. 1) What would you do to be wealthy beyond your wildest dreams?
I would start my own business. Not sure what it would be but I would want it to be profitable lol Oh id also would want to become a hedge fund manager! :-)

    2) If you were to suddenly become super wealthy, what would you change? How would you live your life differently?

Id probably dress better lol Id buy a super nice house with all the fixings! I would live my life not worrying so much on how im going to become rich lol

    3) Is $850 too much to spend on a bag for a three year old?

It is definitley to much to spend on a bag for a 3yr old! What is she going to put in it? Some blocks and dolls lol

  11. 1) To be super wealthy, I'd be willing to come out of my comfort zone and put in the time and effort, as long as I didn't have to compromise my belief system to do it. My salvation is my number ONE priority. God first, family second, all else has to be after that!

    2) If I became instantly wealthy, after giving my 10% as is written, I would definitely move my immediate family into a large house altogether. My mother has beginning Alzheimer's and lives in an older home. She and my dad cannot, at their age, jsut up and leave. I haven't the money to change that. But if I did, we'd all be living together, my parents, my children and me. That would be the FIRST expenditure from my loot!!

    3) I will say this: my lifestyle and socioeconomic status does not allow for those kinds of expenses for children. That's enough money to pay my mortgage!! Feel me? But, if I had money like that, after giving whatever I could to help others, yes, it would probably be nothing for me to buy things with that kind of price tag for my kids. That lifestyle is totally out of my realm of comprehension.

  12. 1). I would do ALMOST anything to become wealthy as long as it's legal.. Looks like sleeping with Tiger Woods is out of the question!!

2). The 1st thing that I would change if I were 2 become super wealthy is to get my mother a better headstone (R.I.P Mommy). I was only 14 when she passed and we didn't have much money so she was given a generic headstone provided by the funeral home (5 yrs after she was buried).. I would put away money for my son's education and buy some land to build my family a house. Everything else will fall into place.. You don't live FOREVER so the money won't be there forever either.. Live life to the fullest.

3). I do think that a $850 purse is too much for ANY 3 year old. I mean, what the heck does she have to put in there??? (She prolly got a black card already) YOU GO GIRL!!

    ReplyDelete
  13. #1). I would do anything to become wealthy beyond my wildest dreams except for anything that includes harming myself or others.

#2). If I were to suddenly become super wealthy, first I would take care of my family and make sure they have what they need, then I would give some money to charity and invest the remaining amount of money on something that will keep the wealth growing.

#3). In my opinion, spending $850 on a purse for a three year old child is unacceptable. At such a young age, parents should be teaching their children the value of money and how to save it instead of throwing expensive luxuries at them. When the child grows older, he/ she may take their luxuries for granted and expect more than just a $850 purse.

  14. #1) I would do anything that is legal and doesn't cost me my self-respect to become wealthy.

#2) If were to suddenly become super wealthy I would pay my 10% tithes to my local church, help my family out, invest, take myself on an extended vacation to a secluded island and set up my dream organization that aids the homeless and abuse victims.

#3) I think that spending $850 for a purse on a three year old is ridiculous. I can't even understand what a three year old would do with a purse like that and the money could be well spent on something else (i.e savings, college fund, etc.)~my opinion.

  15. 1. To be wealthy, I would do just about anything. Aside from committing adultery or killing someone. I believe that you cant be wealthy without the support of your family and friends and doing something to jeopardize that wouldnt be worth being wealthy.

    2. If I were to become super wealthy I would change the outcome of my kids future. Meaning, I would make sure that they had money for the rest of their lives. College funds, Investments and Trust funds in their names. Secondly, I am already a giver so I know that I would have to improve the house of the Lord. I would donate to local charities and do more to support our veterans (My husband is an Iraqi War vet). I would also splurge on a new house and clothes. I would love to just shop for my kids with no budget. Just to see their faces, when they get some of the things they have been wanting, would be worth gold.

    3. Yes I believe $850 is way to much to spend on a bag for a 3 year old. She/he doesnt even know what a purse is. But this is coming from someone who doesnt have a billion dollar bank account. I still think if I had the money I wouldnt spend that much on a 3 year old. There are so many kids who would just love to have a hot meal and $850 would go a long way in doing that. Well, my husband wants me to add this, that money opens different doors in the world of fashion. The media would have a field day if the caught Brad Pitt and Angelina or Tom and Katie shopping at Wal-Mart or Target for their babies things. So being rich changes the game on even going grocery shopping.

  16. @ huntercm6 You could sleep with Tiger, seems like sex rehab isnt helping anyway. He has already slept with one of the other patients. I just wonder if she was in there for a sex addiction or something else. Seems pointless to put a sex addict in the same building with hundreds of other sex addicts. Then again that might be fun and a real kinky. LOL

  17. 1. The wildest, more like grossest (is that a word? lol) thing I'd do is...put my tongue on the a patch of snow that has been plowed to the side of the road. Have you ever seen how dirty that stuff looks! lol. I'd do it for the right amount :-)

    2. If I were to become wealthy, I'd pay off my credit cards first. Then I'd treat myself to new clothes/shoes/electronics. Once I come to my senses, I'll begin to save/invest the money...

    3. An $850 purse is ridicoulous for a 3 year old. She'll be looking for $10,000 purses by time she's 16 and $200,000 cars. lol.

  18. 1)I would do anything to obtain wealth as long as it didn't involve anything that would hurt/interfere with my family and friends.
2)My life would change dramatically if i was able to obtain massive wealth. I wouldn't work for the rest of my life because I would get a good accountant and invest, invest, invest!!!! I would buy the house of my dreams along with a house for my mother. I would adopt maybe 2-3 children because i know that there are many kids in the system who are unable to find good loving homes.
3)No i do not think that a 3 year old needs to have a $850 bag because to me at that young of age she can't really appreciate the value of the bag. Plus what is she going to put in it??She's 3!! On top of that I know me and if i see that $850 bag lying on the floor or on the ground dirty, I would have a fit!! LOL

  19. 1) What would you do to be wealthy beyond your wildest dreams?
Almost anything, aside from demeaning myself worth or morals, I'm open

    2) If you were to suddenly become super wealthy, what would you change? How would you live your life differently?
I would buy a house and invest in my kids future. After that invest in my own future, and take care of my mom. I would spend a couple thousand on things I want but cant afford now.

    3) Is $850 too much to spend on a bag for a three year old?
I think that is ridiculous amount to spend on a purse period, let alone a child's purse.

  20. 1) What I would do to be wealthy is become an actress and save the money I get paid from acting. 2) If I would become super wealthy I would change for all the homeless people in the world to have a nice cozy place to live everyday and a nice home cook meal, snacks, and breakfast everyday and some nice clothes. I would live my life differently by living life like it was my last. I would do alot of things with my three daughters and put some money away for all three of my daughters and I would travel the world. 3) Yes, spending $850 on a bag for a 3yr. old is too much. Most of them will use the bag as a toy and some will not bother with it.

  21. 1. TO BE WEALTHY BEYOND MY WILDEST DREAMS I WOULD DO JUST ABOUT ANYTHING AS LONG AS IT WOULDNT HURT SOMEONE ELSE IN ANY WAY. IF I HAVE TO GET MY RIVHES FOR SEX THEN SO BE IT. ID RATHER GET PAID FOR IT THAN GIVE IT AWAY TO PEOPLE I DNT CARE ABOUT. I MEAN U HAVE TO LOOK OUT FOR YOURSELF. AS LONG AS IT DOESNT PUT ME IN DANGER AND A GOOD TRIP TO THE CLINIC BEFORE ANYTHING GOES DOWN.

2.THE FIRST THING I WOULD DO IS DEFINETLY DONATE TO HAITI BECASE THEY REALLY NEED IT AND I FEEL LIKE ENOUGH HAS NOT BEEN DONE FOR THOSE PEOPLE.THEN I WOULD BUY MY FAMILY A BIG HOUSE AND ALL OF US OUR DREAM CAR.AS FAR AS SHOPPING GOES I WILL STILL LOOK FOR BARGAINS AND SHOP OFF THE CLEARANCE RACK BECAUSE I LIKE TO SAVE MONEY AND BE THRIFTY. FROM TIME TO TIME I WOULD TREAT MYSELF TO SOMETHING EXPENSIVE BUT NOT TO OVER THE TOP.

    3. I DONT THINK $850 FOR A PURSE IS TOO MUCH FOR A THREE YEAR OLD DEPENDING ON THE CASE. I MEAN IF YOU HAVE THE MONEY AND EVERYTHING YOU NEED, AND YOU KNW FOR A FACT YOU ARE FINANCIALLY SET FOR LIFE; SPREND YOUR MONEY ON WHATEVER YOU WANT. EVERYBODY DONT WANT THEIR MONEY TO JUST SIT THERE AND COLLECT DUST. EITHER SPEND IT ON SOMETHING THAT MATTERS AND COULD MAKE A DIFFERENCE FOR SOMEONE ELSE OR BLOW IT ON YOURSELF POINT BLANK.

  22. 1) To be wealthy beyond my wildest dreams, I'd do ALMOST anything as long as it doesnt harm myself or anyone else physically or emotionally. I'd shave my head bald, I'd ride the tower of terror at disney world 100 times non-stop...heck, I'd even try swimming and ice skating again. lol =) I'd play with a teranchula spider and a lizard. If I spot a roach in my house, I'd let it go free and not kill it. I'd sleep with a garden snake on my bed. I'd run everyday errands in a rainbow polka-dot skirt and a candycane striped tank top with mattalic purple knee high stockings, a curly mohawk, and platform sneakers. I'd even walk around town with a sticky note on my forehead saying, "I love to taste earwax!!". I'd throw one of my high heeled shoes at George Bush, I'd eat raw pig guts and goat testicles, too.

    2) If I was to suddenly become super wealthy, I'd change my whole outlook on life. Instead of going to school to become a doctor, I'd lower my stardards to become a nurse or physical therapist ,instead. I would change the way I live my life by first and formost donating to those who need it the most right now. After that, I'd never clean another dirty dish or do my nails myself ever again! I'd eat out at fancy restaurants almost every night and I'd pay someone to do my hair every week. I'd go shopping all the time without even thinking about where my next meal will come from if I bought a $100 pair of shoes. I'd have all the lipo procedures I want!

    3) Yes! $850 is WAY too much to be spending on a bag/purse for a grown adult, much less a toddler. As often as most women change their purses to match their outfit, an extra expensive purse should be the least thing to get on their list...unless they plan on wearing it everyday for the next 6 months. I feel that Suri is very spoiled. The most I would spend on a purse for a toddler would be $50. The extra $800 is such a waste...that money could have been donated to Haiti or some other cause.

  23. 1. I would take my ENTIRE family, (in-laws included) on an all inclusive vacation to Cancun, Mexico! My husband and I went there for our honeymoon and fell in love with it!
2.I would change the lives of ALL my family and close friends! My husband and I would make sure that the people in our circle are taken care of.
    3. Yes, 850 dollars is too much money to pay for a purse for a three-year-old. Even if you are rich, you are not teaching your children about smart money management.
These are real answers, too, because my husband and I talk about this topic all the time and this is our plan for if we are ever fortunate enough to have that happen!!

  24. 1. To be wealthy beyond my wildest dreams I would give up everything material I have except for my dogs which are like my children since I don't have any yet.

    2. If I was to become super wealthy I would make sure that my family were taken care of as far as paying off any existing mortgage, car notes, utilities etc.. so that they could be stress free because I know these things can bring a person down especially now the way the slow economy has effected many of us.

    3. Yes, I do think that $850 dollars is way too much to spend on a purse for a 3 year old. I would not even do that if I was very wealthy and had that kind of money to blow. Suri has grown up around fashion by being around her mom so I think that it was only apparent that she get an expensive bag. I am sure that is not the only pricey item she has owned anyway reguardless of her young age.

  25. 1. For extreme wealth, I would actually eat an onion. LOL

    2. If I became super wealthy, I would first give all my siblings a sizable amount of money so they wouldn't keep coming back and asking for me. Second, I would invest in some pretty profitable companies, invest in the stock market, and build a sizable portfolio of various investments. Third, I would finish my college degree (six classes left) that I never finished. Fourth, I would purchase several homes in different states and around the world. You can never have too much real estate. Fifth, I would quit my job!

    3. Yes, yes, yes, $850 is entirely too much money to spend on a purse for a 3 year old. Why is a three year old carrying a purse anyway?

  26. 1. I would marry a rich man and become a eutrepeneruer ( i can't believe i just type this)

    2. I would give back to my neighberhood.I would stat a housing fundation to help familys. It would not matter if you are a single parent or a famly that need a bit more help.It would not even matter if you did not have the money,I still would help. I Would put boys and girls clubs in the parts of the city where there is not one. I would take one school once a year to any where in the world to show that you don't have to be on tv just to travel the world.

Yes $850 is too much to spend on a three year old but if i had the money to spend i would do it in a hartbeat.

  27. 1. I would give to myself as well as all my family the things that we would have always desired but never could get.

    3. For me it is, but if I was rich, and my daughter wanted it, then she would get it.

  30. 1) What would you do to be wealthy beyond your wildest dreams? You know the saying..You gotta do something you never done to get what you never had, or something like that.

    2) If you were to suddenly become super wealthy, what would you change? How would you live your life differently? I would chanage where I live, I would definetly move out of my neighborhood and buy me a nice size house..I would probaby be more conscious of my money spending and what I buy with it, I would also start my own business and travel as often as I can to anywhere I want to go, I would try to live a normal life just a little over the top at times just because I could.

    3) Is $850 too much to spend on a bag for a three year old? It is way too much to spend on just a bag, she could've at least got matching shoes

    3) i dont think my entire wardrobe including shoes costs 850 so thats a definite NO for a child receiving a purse thats 850, thats a small used car! geez!

  33. 1) I would participate in a mental and/or physical challenge to become wealthy beyond my wildest dreams. I would probably do something bizarre, frightening or totally uncomfortable for the sake of winning the wealth. That way I could personally feel that I earned the life style for my personal sacrifices, rather than hurting others, etc. to get to the place of being wealthy and it would be fair if I won.

    2) If I were to suddenly become super wealthy, I would change my current living conditions as I would be able to afford a more luxurious home in a more popular or sheltered area. I would live my life differently by sharing the wealth amongst my friends, families, and selected charities as well as spending more time for personal interests [such as family, health, fashion], as I wouldn't be working a regular dead-end job anymore.

    3) I personally believe a $850 bag is too much to spend on a three year old. The child is going to outgrow the interest in the bag, naturally, and those hundreds of dollars could go to more important expenses than a toddler's accessory.

    ReplyDelete
  34. 1.i would open my business the way i wanted too and spare no expense,i would pay it forward to some other needy people that were trying to make it and get them started on their way and i would definately help my family.
2.if i became super weathly i would definately change my current living conditions.i would purchase a home.i would be able to live my life without having to stress over where the next 5$ is coming from.i would be able to go one month without having to make a payment arrangement on most of my bills. Aah Can you imagine living a life where you dont have to rob peter to pay paul?? I can.
3.An 850$ bag is quite obssive but if they can afford it who are we to judge or try and tell someone else how to spend there money. They worked for it and there the ones that have to sleep at night knowing all that is going on in the world and in the economy.

    ReplyDelete
  35. 1. To be weathly I would do just about anything as long as it is not against my personal or religous beliefs.
    2. If I became weathly I would first and foremost become debt free. I would help those who have hepled me over the years and finally put my money away and not get too crazy with it. I also would not tell too many people about my wealth because money changes relationships. I would keep my job because I can see myself getting bored not working no matter how much money I had.
    3. I have a 2.5 yr old and there is no way in the world I would buy her a $850 bag no matter how much money I had. I would not buy myself a $850 bag. It is my job to teach her financial responsibility and to work for what she wants and starting her out young to think she should have these things is not something I want to teach my child(ren).

  39. 1) What would you do to be wealthy beyond your wildest dreams?
*I'm not going to say that I would do ANYTHING to become wealthy, just because one I am going to be a new mother in june with my first child, and I wouldnt want to put her in harms way or do anything that would risk my daughter being taken from me. I would probably do anything at a reasonable level but nothing illegal.

    2) If you were to suddenly become super wealthy, what would you change? How would you live your life differently?
    * I would put money away for college or education for my daughter, I would also most likely help my family with any debts that they may be in, help them pay off bills and obviously like many other people probably would say buy a house and move out of this small town I currently live in. I wouldnt give up my friends or change who I am just because I become rich. Obviously with wealth comes alot of things. You can do basically anything you want if you are wealthy, I personally would just live it up. I wouldnt have to worry about money being tight or budget spending. I would be able to go out to dinner, movies, go shopping and buy well basically anything I wanted to because money wouldnt be a problem. Life of course would change but I would not change the people in my life. Money shouldnt make you give up the people you care about, and it wouldnt be like that with me. I would also end up getting married to my current boyfriend(to which im having the child to) and we would just live our lives as we normally would but just with the money and wealth and not having to worry about money being low or anything.

    3) Is $850 too much to spend on a bag for a three year old?
*I personally think that $850.00 is a little spendy on a bag, especially for a three year old. To me an $850 bag is EXPENSIVE as heck even for an adult to get, let alone a three year old. As for being wealthy though, if you have the money you can buy practically anything you want, and to the Cruises, with all the money and funds and how good they have things, $850.00 probably seems like just a pocket full of change, while to us and myself its a good chunk of money. I'm not going to say that if I became wealthy that I wouldn't buy my family, and my daughter expensive things, because money wouldnt be a problem, but at the moment right now I personally think that YES 850. is a bit too much to spend on a bag for a kid especially a 3 year old.

  40. 1) What would you do to be wealthy beyond your wildest dreams? I would love to be a famous photographer to become rich!

    2) If you were to suddenly become super wealthy, what would you change? How would you live your life differently? I would defiantly have a nicer car cause mine breaks down alot. and a house because i dont have one of my own yet then i would set up college funds for my 2 boys.

    3) Is $850 too much to spend on a bag for a three year old? I think it is considering its more than my 2 week pay check!

  41. 1) I know it might sound strange, but if i were rich. i want to get braces and ortho (jaw) surgerys for all my brothers and sisters because we were all born with underbites, which is a really expensive procedure to cure. With budgets these days, surgerys are really unaffordable when your parents are on welfare. It saddens me to know that none of my siblings smile because we all have ugly teeth. I also want to help cure my mom's sickness and her back pains. I want to pay off future payments and buy things for my family that they have always desire.

2)If i were to be rich suddenly, I would take my family out of debt and buy a new home for my parents, I would also take them back to see their hometown in laos. I also want to open up my own photography studio and fashion line.

    3) Yes i believe $850 is way too much for a three year old. I can use that money to pay for gas, food and bills. But i guess if you were super rich, it's nothing.

  42. 1. I would continue to try and be a good person. I believe if you project positivity and bless those around you that blessings and good fortune come back to you.

2.I will admit that if I suddenly became wealthy I would do some things most people would; splurge on the kids and myself, pay off bills, and help those around me. I would first do the thing that I have wanted to do for so long and that is open a community center for the kids in my area to have a safe constructive place to go and learn. Life would be different daily in the fact that I would be living my dream.

    3. FIFI you know $850 is too much for a 3 year olds purse. If I did pay that on my 3 y/o a bag I NEVA buy her another one.
