Coat Check: Prairie Underground Town Coat
When we first debuted Coat Check back in October, we were afraid that our readers in the traditionally warm weather states would have trouble relating to the segment. However unless you live in southern California, last week's continental wide chill served us up some vindication. It was so cold last week that most of northern and central Florida was under a freeze warning. Children in western North Carolina were treated to a snow day, and normally balmy Nevada experienced and ice storm in some parts. So now that we've given every one a reason to pay attention to our daily Coat Check behold the: Prairie Underground Women's Town Coat. While most fashion forward women nowadays own a utilitarian Pea Coat, or even a venerable Trench, I still don't see many clad in the walking statement that is a perfect designer Town Coat. This masterfully done piece from Prairie Underground is an elegant statement that can be worn almost any where. Wear it everyday off work or to work if you're lucky enough to work in a laid back office setting. Tobi.com offers the coat in two distinctive colors; Bruiser (pictured above) and Cruise liner (below). Sizes range from XS to XL in both colors. To offer some perspective on fit note that: Ana is wearing a size small. Ana’s profile is: 5’10”, waist 25”, bust 34”, hips 36”. Click Here to visit Tobi.com for more pics.
