Designer Alexander McQueen's funeral took place in London last Thursday. Those in attendance were his close family and friends - which included Kate Moss, Naomi Campbell, Daphne Guinness and Sam Taylor-Wood. A spokesperson confirmed that there will be a memorial service this year for McQueen's many other friends and supporters; however, the details will be decided and released at a later date.
But the show must go on: The brand spokesperson also noted that the focus for the team is on the future of the label and on the Alexander McQueen show, set to take place in Paris on March 9. McQueen, who was known for his more than life deigns committed suicided at the eve of New York Fashion Week, will be missed by many.
