Pencil Me In for Beautiful Eyes Contest!!!

'Antioxidant' has become quite a buzzword in the cosmetic world these days - and rightfully so!! The benefits that antioxidants can give your skin are absolutely astounding. Our skin takes a lot of abuse these days; especially from pollution and heavy sun exposure. Antioxidants can help reduce the effects and in some cases reverse the damages. You can get antioxidants in a variety of forms: in food, vitamins, moisturizers and now, even cosmetics!

Created by Linda Eisner, Pencil Me In Cosmetics offers a unique collection of eye pencils that are packed with vitamins and antioxidants that will help improve your skin. No longer do you have to add yet another step to your morning routine. All you have to do is replace your old eye shadows and liners with one of these eye pencils. simultaneously provide your body with some more necessary ingredients to fight all those nasty chemicals out there!

For those of us who need comprehensive cosmetic assistance (believe me, I know how daunting those makeup counters can be!), Pencil Me In makes it so easy to find the perfect color to compliment your personal style. Just pick the category that best fits you. From hair color to skin tone, to preferred look - Pencil Me In Cosmetics will offer you a list of liners that will suit all your beauty needs!

Fortunately, I had the opportunity to try out their eye pencils so I can personally attest to their greatness! The eye pencils have this amazing, creamy consistency which allowed for a smooth application and was perfect for smudging (Picture a brilliant smoky eye look). There's a wide selection of shades to choose from and each one was true to color; a characteristic that I'm really fond of. Each pencil cost $6.99 and came with a pencil sharpener built right into the cap! How perfectly simplistic was that?? Here were three of my favorite colors:

Dorothy from The Wizard of Oz would have loved this green eye pencil that's appropriately named Emerald City. I love how vibrant Emerald City looked against my pale skin. Every redhead should get this color immediately! I sharpened it until it formed a really sharp tip and then swept it across my upper lid for a thick, dramatic line. Then I used my finger to blend it across the rest of my lid, creating a really intense and unique color. I definitely see this as being a show-stopping color this fall!

Next, to get a great daytime look I used Sky. It is a heavily pigmented light, icy blue that will look wonderful during the winter months but also reminded me of a sweet robin's egg; making it a great spring shade as well.

To create a great evening look, I used Lapis. The pencil's creamy texture made it easy to apply and allowed me to get a really thick, even line across my lid. I used my fingers to blend the color across my lid which allowed me to control the intensity of the shade. What I loved most about this look was that it instantly allowed me to glam up my outfit for an evening out.

Thank goodness for this new cosmetic innovation! Finally, we can get a great look and still have peace of mind knowing that we're putting some much needed ingredients back into our bodies!

"Fashion Is Foremost Inspiration"

  1. I Would Love To Win Those Pencils. I'm A Makeup Newbie And I REALLY Am Trying To Be More Of A "Girly Girl". I Think These Pencils Would Be A Great Addition To My Less Than Perfect Makeup Collection....Thank You For Your Time *Fingers Crossed*

  2. Why I would love to win the Pencil me in set. All my life i've pretty much been a Tom-Boy all the way up to about 3 years ago. I'm really trying to get into makeup now that I'm 24 but don't really know how to shop for it. Really the only things I own that is makeup related is the basics. Eyeliner, Foundation and a few shadows and lipgloss that I purchased from MAC which my friend told me to get. Lost and not only need those pencils but need cosmetic help

  3. I like the idea of using the pencil instead of regular eye shadow power, because i always make a mess.

  4. I could really use the pencils I haven’t been able to purchase any make up in about a year. I love trying and testing new makeup I love and enjoy playing with different colors, so I believe that the pencils would be a step towards me seeing the world in beautiful colors, because lately things seem so dull.

  5. I want to win these pencils because I am a busy college student. Most of my time is spent in class (16 credits), studying, or working in my bio lab. So when I do get the chance to go out dancing or out with my boy(!) I just end up having to use boring black/brown liners that I have had for over 2 years....and that's wack. Since my personality is not black/brown I would like to expand and show the world the brightness that is me.

  6. I would absolutely love to win these eye pencils!! The colors are gorgous and it is hard to find those beautiful colors in the stores. They are sooooo beautiful!!!!!

  7. Hello I would just love to say...I love theses pencils especially Buff and Penny. I use them both as liner and bases. Penny makes my brown eyeshadow come out even prettier and buff is a nice color base as well. Thanks Fashionwithfifi...I recommended this item after using I purchased two from the site should get that package soon. Thanks again

  8. I mean One Cent..lol I call it penny because it looks like it.
