Fortunately, I had the opportunity to try out their eye pencils so I can personally attest to their greatness! The eye pencils have this amazing, creamy consistency which allowed for a smooth application and was perfect for smudging (Picture a brilliant smoky eye look). There's a wide selection of shades to choose from and each one was true to color; a characteristic that I'm really fond of. Each pencil cost $6.99 and came with a pencil sharpener built right into the cap! How perfectly simplistic was that?? Here were three of my favorite colors:
Dorothy from The Wizard of Oz would have loved this green eye pencil that's appropriately named Emerald City. I love how vibrant Emerald City looked against my pale skin. Every redhead should get this color immediately! I sharpened it until it formed a really sharp tip and then swept it across my upper lid for a thick, dramatic line. Then I used my finger to blend it across the rest of my lid, creating a really intense and unique color. I definitely see this as being a show-stopping color this fall!
Next, to get a great daytime look I used Sky. It is a heavily pigmented light, icy blue that will look wonderful during the winter months but also reminded me of a sweet robin's egg; making it a great spring shade as well.
To create a great evening look, I used Lapis. The pencil's creamy texture made it easy to apply and allowed me to get a really thick, even line across my lid. I used my fingers to blend the color across my lid which allowed me to control the intensity of the shade. What I loved most about this look was that it instantly allowed me to glam up my outfit for an evening out.
Thank goodness for this new cosmetic innovation! Finally, we can get a great look and still have peace of mind knowing that we're putting some much needed ingredients back into our bodies!

I Would Love To Win Those Pencils. I'm A Makeup Newbie And I REALLY Am Trying To Be More Of A "Girly Girl". I Think These Pencils Would Be A Great Addition To My Less Than Perfect Makeup Collection....Thank You For Your Time *Fingers Crossed*
ReplyDeleteWhy I would love to win the Pencil me in set. All my life i've pretty much been a Tom-Boy all the way up to about 3 years ago. I'm really trying to get into makeup now that I'm 24 but don't really know how to shop for it. Really the only things I own that is makeup related is the basics. Eyeliner, Foundation and a few shadows and lipgloss that I purchased from MAC which my friend told me to get. Lost and not only need those pencils but need cosmetic help
ReplyDeleteI like the idea of using the pencil instead of regular eye shadow power, because i always make a mess.
ReplyDeleteI could really use the pencils I haven’t been able to purchase any make up in about a year. I love trying and testing new makeup I love and enjoy playing with different colors, so I believe that the pencils would be a step towards me seeing the world in beautiful colors, because lately things seem so dull.
ReplyDeleteI want to win these pencils because I am a busy college student. Most of my time is spent in class (16 credits), studying, or working in my bio lab. So when I do get the chance to go out dancing or out with my boy(!) I just end up having to use boring black/brown liners that I have had for over 2 years....and that's wack. Since my personality is not black/brown I would like to expand and show the world the brightness that is me.
ReplyDeleteI would absolutely love to win these eye pencils!! The colors are gorgous and it is hard to find those beautiful colors in the stores. They are sooooo beautiful!!!!!
