Rev. Run's eldest son Joseph "Jojo" Simmons Jr. was arrested last night for possession of marijuana. He allegedly bought weed and was seen rolling the illegal substance in Manhattan's Upper East Side.
And this is why you shouldn't do drugs:
NYPD sources stated that the Run's House star was inside his car when the police apprehended him.... he tried to escape by reversing and almost struck a police vehicle. As a result, Jojo was charged with resisting arrest, attempted reckless endangerment, and criminal use of drug paraphenalia. This was a dumb move on Jojo's part.
On the MTV hit series Run's House, Rev. Run prides himself on his musical accomplishments and his children being seen as role models. I'm not sure if this is one of those RM (role model) moments. Neither Jojo or the Simmons family has issued a statement.
